Queen Latifah Announced As Host For Kennedy Center Honors

Queen Latifah will take on the hosting duties for this year’s edition of the Kennedy Center Honors. Organizers announced yesterday that the award-winning actress and musician will host the 47th annual ceremony on December 8th. She was among the honorees at last year’s ceremony. This year’s honorees include Francis Ford Coppola, the Grateful Dead, Bonnie Raitt, Arturo Sandoval and The Apollo Theater, which is receiving special recognition as a historic entertainment venue. The event will air on CBS on December 22nd.
