Godley And Creme Announce 11-Disc Box Set

Look for an eleven-disc box set by a duo that was part of a British band in the 70s and directed innovative music videos in the 80s. “Parts Of The Process – The Complete Godley and Creme [[ cream ]]” is a collection of the seven studio albums by Kevin Godley and Lol Creme. Godley and Creme were founding members of 10 CC, whose 1975 international hit “I’m Not In Love” reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100. The duo left the band the following year and stayed together for the next 12 years. As a duo, Godley and Creme may have had their greatest fame in 1985 with the video for their song “Cry.” Shot in black-and-white, the video morphed through a progression of faces for an effect never before seen on MTV. In addition to their own songs, Godley and Creme directed music videos for “Owner of a Lonely Heart” by Yes, “View To a Kill” by Duran Duran, and Herbie Hancock’s robots-gone-wild video “Rockit.” The box set is due out on February 28th.
